Noises, Sounds and Sweet Airs, aired every Sunday at 10:00 p.m. and hosted by Michael Campion, is an hour-long voyage of discovery into twentieth century music during which you will enjoy some of the finest music you'll ever hear.

Michael understands the resistance some people have to twentieth century music; he comments:
“A century of trying every means possible to make music say something new has resulted in some pretty daunting experimentation. The abandonment of tonality, twelve-tone serialism and the avant-garde have left a dubious impression of what we think of as contemporary music. And, unfortunately, many composers have connected doing something new with a complete rejection of the past.
"Thankfully, most of the composers of the last hundred years have been able to find a new means of expression while refusing to leave us, the humble listener, behind.”
The mission of Noises, Sounds and Sweet Airs is to present that music that is both outstanding and enjoyable; in other words, music that you don't have to be afraid to tell your friends about.
Some of the composers featured have included Ravel, Debussy, Holst, Barber, Stravinsky, Vaughan Williams, Copland, Gershwin, Prokofiev, Shostakovich and a host of other very familiar and less-familiar names.
